Sun releases the Solaris Enterprise System, offering free access to the Sun Java[tm] Enterprise System, N1[tm] Management software and multiple Sun developer tools bundled with the Solaris[tm] 10 Operating System (Solaris OS) with PostgreSQL open-source database [15519]. Also in Sun News, eBay selects Sun Fire[tm] x64 (x86, 64-bit) servers and Sun StorEdge[tm] systems to bolster its search environment [15520]; Latin America is embracing the Solaris 10 OS [15492]; and two Sun customers make the 2005 InfoWorld 100 Awards list [15521].
