Updates for the Financial Services market includes Sun's launch of a Consolidated Payments Architecture [15086] and a Transaction Control Monitor solution [15082].

Interest in the Developer Collaboration feature of the NetBeans[tm] 4.1 platform has generated a new community project to further advance this technology [15034].

In Storage, Mark Canepa talks about Sun's strategy following the StorageTek acquisition [14987]. Announcements include the new Sun StorEdge[tm] 5310 NAS Gateway system [15073].
